Gingerbread

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Cream shortening and brown sugar. Add egg.
  2. Add molasses and water.
  3. Combine dry: flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and ground allspice.
  4. Chill.
  5. Roll 1/8" thick.
  6. Bake at 350 F for 8-10 minutes.
